<p>The 6th Annual "D.A.R.E. to Run for BackStoppers" 5K/10K, & Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run is fast approaching. The event will be held Saturday, November 5th, 9:00 a.m. at Liederkranz Park. This has become a fun event for runners and walkers at all levels, and is a great family event. We are proud that participants come from all over the greater St. Louis area. This event features free food from Panera, The Egg & I, and Schubert's Smoke House, great attendance prizes, free bounce house, and more! Register by October 14th to save $5 on your registration fee, and guarantee your size of our performance long-sleeve t-shirts. We have discounted prices for participants age 17 & under. If you are unable to participate, we offer a "virtual runner" entry, where you donate to the cause & still get a shirt. </p>
<p>Over 50% of the profits goes to the BackStoppers organization, which assists those families of first responders who die in the line of duty, in the St. Louis area. The rest goes towards the many youth programs the Millstadt Police Department puts on.</p>
