*Update*#LASD Missing Person from Santa Clarita has been found, Santa Clarita

On Saturday, October 8, 2016, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Mrs. Dejesus was found by a family member as she returned to her residence.

Mrs. Dejesus was found in good condition and was reunited with her family at home.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Detail would like to thank the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and Santa Clarita Valley Station personnel and their Search and Rescue Team for their assistance in Mrs. Dejesus’s safe return.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Detail are seeking for the public’s assistance in locating Olga Dejesus.  She is a 75 year-old female Hispanic, who was last seen leaving her residence to take a walk from the 18000 block of American Beauty Drive, Santa Clarita, on Friday, October 7, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m.  

Olga is described as 5’1”, 140lbs, Gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing beige shorts, yellow socks, and dark shoes.

The missing person suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. Her family is very concerned and asking for the public’s assistance.

On that same day, Santa Clarita Station personnel received information from a citizen that they may have seen someone matching the description of Mrs. Dejesus, who was attempting to take a bus, at Sierra Highway and Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita.
