Stilwell Police requested OSBI assistance this morning with a homicide. Several OSBI special agents and crime scene agents responded to 178 W. Blackjack Street in Stilwell where a woman was found dead inside her home. Lena Duncan, 56, appears to have died from a gunshot wound. Several other people were inside Duncan's home when the shooting occurred just before 8 a.m. Special agents interviewed those individuals who helped agents develop a person of interest in the homicide -- the victim's son. Adair County sheriff deputies located Stormy Seth Gann, Sr (d.o.b. 6/17/1988) a mile and a half from the crime scene. Deputies transported Gann to the police department where special agents interviewed him. After the interview, Stilwell police officers arrested Gann for first degree murder. This afternoon, Gann went before a judge for an initial hearing. The judge denied bond. Gann was released from prison September 29, 2016, after spending more than five years behind bars for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
