Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 7:30 a.m., as part of a follow up investigation from information obtained via citizen informants, members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Narcotics Bureau, Marijuana Eradication Team, along with station narcotics investigators, served a search warrant in the 200 block of West 134th Street, unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.

At the conclusion of the operation, a large sophisticated marijuana growing operation was discovered inside a warehouse.  Approximately 2,700 live plants were seized, along with approximately 20 pounds of finished marijuana product.  The recovered marijuana has a combined estimated street value of 6.1 million dollars.

Two adults were arrested for the cultivation of marijuana and booked at the Century Regional Detention Center.  The suspects are being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
