*Update* #LASD Homicide Shooting Death Investigation, 4600 Block of Noakes Street, Commerce
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that was discovered on Wednesday, October 05, 2016, at 3:32 pm, in the 4600 block of Noakes Street, Commerce.
Detectives have learned that East Los Angeles station deputy personnel responded to 3800 block of Whittier Boulevard regarding a “Gunshot Victim call.” While conducting their investigation deputies became aware of a potential gunshot victim at the 4600 block of Noakes Street, Commerce.
Deputies responded to the location and found a male adult in the passenger portion of a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the male will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
