...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN... Lower Rouge River .Heavy rainfall that occurred earlier today has caused the river to exceed flood stage. Additional heavy rainfall is possible and could lead to additional rises. The National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flood warning for the Lower Rouge River in Inkster and Dearborn.

* From now until further notice.

* At 8 PM Thursday the stage is estimated at 10.2 feet and rising.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring.

* Forecast...the river is near crest and will begin falling below flood stage overnight. Additional heavy rainfall could lead to a rising trend again during Friday. &&
