Commercial Burglary Suspect Arrested 
Commercial Burglary Investigation:
On 9/27/16, at about 6:00 AM, a male forcefully entered the Locomotive Liquor Store located in the 100 block of E Palm Canyon Drive after hours through a hole in the ceiling. The suspect stole several cartons of cigarettes and California Lottery scratchers. The male suspect exited through the ceiling to the roof after taking the items and fled the location.
PSPD Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Cole Sanders 3/24/1991 of La Quinta, CA.
At around 4:50 PM PSPD Community Policing Officers located Sanders in Sunrise Park and detained him without incident. Sanders was positively identified as the burglary suspect and was taken into custody. Sanders was booked into the Larry D Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, CA.
