The Manchester Police Department would like to advise you of four (4) events this Saturday October 1st that will cause an increase in traffic congestion and potential delays. The first event is the Cot trot For Life that will take place at Derryfield Park at 9:00 AM.
The second event is the Fun Fall Frolic road race on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM. This race benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of New Hampshire. The race begins on Amherst St in the area of Bronstein Park.Route:
2 Mile- Start- Bronstein Park- East on Amherst St, North on Ashland St, West on Bridge St, North on Maple St, East on Myrtle St, North on Oak St, West on Harrison St, South on Beech St, West on Amherst St to Finish
5K- Start- Bronstein Park- East on Amherst St, North on Ashland St, West on Bridge St, North on Maple St, East on Myrtle St, North on Linden St, West on Harrison St, North on Russell St, West on Sagamore St, North on Maple St, West on North St, South on Beech St, West on Amherst St to Finish.
Amhesrt St, from Union St to Beech St, will be closed at 9:00 AM in order for race officials to set up the start/finish line.
The third Event will be the Lupus Foundation of New England "Lupus Walk" on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 1000AM. This walk will start in the area of Veteran's Park.
Route: North on Elm St from Veteran’s Park, east on Bridge St, south on Chestnut St, west on Central St back to Veteran’s Park. This walk will utilize sidewalk and all traffic control devices.
The fourth event will be the "Live Free Country Concert" at Delta Dental Stadium Saturday, October 1, 2016 starting at 4PM
