San Pablo, CA – On Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at about 05:41 a.m. San Pablo Police responded to a vehicle versus bicyclist collision in the area of Giant Road at Parr Boulevard. Medical units responded and unfortunately the bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officers are investigating the collision however, driver impairment does not appear to be a factor. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Giant Road remains closed and is expected to open this morning around 10:00 a.m.
