**UPDATE**
A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in unincorporated El Cajon is now under arrest. The San Diego County Fugitive Task Force located Richard "Ricky" James Gunner near Rio Seco Elementary School on Cuyamaca Street in Santee just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24th. He was taken into custody without incident and is now booked at Central Jail.

Be on the lookout for Richard "Ricky" James Gunner. Sheriff's Homicide Detail Detectives say he is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting death of a man in unincorporated El Cajon.

The victim was found lying on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Danny Street around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 24th.

Gunner is known to frequent Santee, Lakeside and surrounding communities, but could be anywhere in the county.

Gunner is also wanted for violating the condition/s of his parole. He has tattoos on his neck. If you see Gunner, DO NOT APPROACH HIM. HE IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS. CALL 9-1-1.
