The City of Beverly Hills is experiencing and an increase in stolen vehicles due to vehicle owners leaving their car doors unlocked with the car key left inside.

Here are a number of steps that can be taken to help deter auto theft:

Be certain you take your car key/FOB with you when you exit your car Keep your extra car key/FOB in a safe place other than inside your car.

Make a conscious effort to listen for your car doors to lock before you walk away from your car.

Physically check your car door to ensure it has locked.

By adopting these simple few steps you will help to make if far more difficult for your car to be stolen.
