<p>UPDATE-&nbsp;Officers from the Pomona Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) have identified and arrested the driver from this incident. The vehicle has also been recovered with damage consistent with the collision.</p>

<p>Suspect Ambriz obtained the vehicle from his employer in Ontario which is a Used Car dealership. He was driving the vehicle when the collision took place without a valid driver&#39;s license.&nbsp;S- Ambriz&nbsp;called a friend to pick him up and recover the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a nearby autobody shop in the city of Montclair where it was being stored.</p>

<p>An anonymous witness came forward after an earlier news broadcast and assisted the MAIT officers with some missing details of the investigation that led to the identiity and arrest of the suspect. We thank the media and community for thier assistance in this investigation.</p>

<p>CHARGE: Vehicular Manslaughter &amp; Felony Hit &amp; Run</p>

<p>The Pomona Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is currently investigating a fatal hit and run collision involving a pedestrian in a wheel chair.&nbsp; The collision occured on 9-18-16 at approximately 11:12 PM in the 900 block of West Holt Ave.&nbsp; The suspect vehicle was travelling East on Holt Ave at a high rate of speed and collided with the victim who was apprently crossing the street.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Investigators are currently looking to talk to the registered owner of the vehicle, and are actively pursuing leads.</p>
