<p>On 09/11/16 between the hours of 1pm and 3pm, the Frankfort Police Department had six (6) Burglaries to Motor Vehicle reported to the department. Four (4) incidents occurred at Commissioners Park (22108 S. 80th Avenue), and two (2) occurred at the Municipal Parking Lot near White and Elwood Streets. In all cases, a window was broken to steal an unattended purse and/or valuables left in plain view inside the victims&rsquo; vehicle. We continue to remind all residents and visitors not to leave valuables visible and unattended in their vehicles. Please be observant and alert police of any suspicious vehicles or persons you observe. Also, be aware that several other police departments in the area experienced similar crimes over the weekend.
