UPDATE, 7:26 P.M. SEPT. 11

At approximately 8:30 a.m. this morning, KCPD assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol in Edwards, Missouri in the arrest of Kylr Yust, W/M, 9/14/88. Yust was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on charges for Knowingly Burning in relation to missing person Jessica Runions' vehicle, found burned in Kansas City on 9/10/16 (see below previous releases). 

It should be noted, Missouri Search and Rescue has searched two large areas twice with negative results. 

Investigators continue following up on leads and are still looking for Jessica Runions. 

Anyone with information on Jessica's whereabouts are asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477(TIPS) or POLICE.

UPDATE, 9:16 P.M. SEPT. 10: 

On 9/9/16, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Jessica Runions, W/F, 7/10/1995, was reported missing. 

It was reported she was last seen on Thursday, 9/8/16, at approximately 9:30 p.m.  

Just before 2 a.m. this morning, Jessica's vehicle was located in the area of 95th St and Blue River Rd. Her vehicle was found unoccupied and burned. The vehicle was towed to our vehicle processing facility where it is being processed.  

Today, Missouri Search and Rescue were called to the area of 95th & Blue River Rd. to conduct a field search for Jessica. After several hours, crews have called off their search due to darkness but plan to resume tomorrow in daylight. There will still be a police presence in the area overnight.

Police urge anyone with information on Jessica's whereabouts to please contact KCPD's Missing Persons at 816-234-5136, POLICE or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477 (TIPS).

Police are looking for Missing Person Jessica Runions. She is a white female, birth date is 7/10/1995. 

Jessica was last seen on September 8, 2016, at 9:30 p.m. driving a 2012 black Chevy Equinox with license plate number is MN2-C8B.
