Welcome to "Back-to School" season! We'd like to take this opportunity to remind residents of the importance of securing your homes and garages while you are away. With school activities once again starting, families tend to get busy, and sometimes that can lead to mistakingly leaving a door unsecured during the day or a garage door open when you go to bed. Our officers don't want you or any of your family members to be victimized, so we ask that you do your best to "slow your roll" during your school or work week. Take your time to double check your doors and windows and make sure they are properly secured. Do a double check before going to bed that garage doors are locked and that any vehicles outside are also secured (and vaulables are either removed or hidden).
