LOCATION: Calico Alternative Education Center, 33525 Ponnay Street, Daggett
SUMMARY: On September 12, 2016, the Barstow Sheriff's Station will host an "Active Shooter" training exercise at the Calico Alternative Education Center (AEC), 33525 Ponnay Street in Daggett. Calico AEC staff, students, local law enforcement and fire personnel will participate in the exercise. The exercise will allow participants to practice current active shooter procedures in a controlled environment and better prepare, if such an event should take place.
