Surveillance Pictures Released in Armed Robbery Investigation

<p>Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that Investigators are releasing surveillance pictures in connection with last night&rsquo;s armed robbery at a local restaurant.&nbsp;Three males are accused of robbing 619 Gervais Street at gunpoint shortly after 10:00 o&rsquo;clock last night.&nbsp;The business was closed and it&rsquo;s believed that at least two of the suspects initially approached employees outside.&nbsp; A male employee was thrown to the ground and hit in the face. &nbsp;He was taken to a local hospital for his non-life threatening injuries.&nbsp;Another employee tells CPD that a suspect pointed a gun at her to demand money and held other employees against their will inside of the business.The suspects left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.&nbsp;The victims describe the suspects as possibly being black males; one was wearing a black hoodie and pants, and an American flag shorts or boxers. &nbsp;&nbsp;Citizens with information about the crime are encouraged to contact <strong>Crimestoppers</strong>&nbsp;toll-free at&nbsp;<strong>888-CRIME-SC</strong>.&nbsp;</p>
