<p>HARRIS COUNTY, TX &ndash; On Wednesday, September 07, 2016, Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman will address an assaultive incident at the Harris County Jail.</p>

<p>On Monday, September 5, 2016, an inmate in custody of the Harris County Jail assaulted a Sheriff&rsquo;s Detention Office in the medical clinic of the 1200 Baker Street Jail.&nbsp; Approximately 6 staff members responded to the incident and attempted to force the inmate into submission.</p>

<p>An Internal Affairs investigation was immediately conducted and within 48 hours the evidence was submitted to the District Attorney&rsquo;s Office for review by the Grand Jury.</p>

<p>Sheriff Hickman will address the incident and the subsequent investigation at a press conference on Wednesday.</p>
