*Update* Barricaded Suspect, 16100 S. Avalon Blvd, Carson @SEBLASD @CarsonLASD 
On Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at approximately 12:43 p.m. Carson Station received a call of a man with an axe threatening employees at a car wash located in the 16100 block of South Avalon Boulevard, Carson. The suspect barricaded himself inside the second floor loft area and refused to come out.
Carson Station deputies, Special Enforcement Bureau, and a Crisis Negotiations Team responded to the business. Communication was established, and at approximately 6:35 p.m. the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.
The suspect identified as Nicholas Sadaka, 51 years-old, was transported and booked for assault with a deadly weapon at Carson Station. His bail amount is $50,000.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s personnel from Carson Sheriff’s Station are investigation the circumstances that led to a Barricaded Suspect inside a business in the 16100 block of S. Avalon Boulevard in Carson.
Just after noon, Carson station received a call of a man with an “ax” threating employees at a car wash. The suspect barricaded himself in a second floor loft area of the business and refused to come out.
According to witnesses, the incident began with an argument between the suspect and an employee.
The suspect appears to be alone inside the location. There have been no reports of injury.
A Special Enforcement Bureau team is currently on scene along with a Crisis Negotiations Team. Attempts are being made to communicate with the suspect and provide an avenue for the suspect to surrender without further incident.
