Tomorrow morning CalFresh recipients, those currently receiving CalFresh, living in Lower Lake (95457) and Clearlake (95422) zip codes at the time of the Clayton Fire will receive automatic replacement of a portion of their CalFresh benefits. This replacement issuance is intended to enable CalFresh households to replace lost perishable foods. Because CalFresh benefits were issued between the 1st to the 10th of August, and subsequent power outages began on August 13, 2016, CalFresh recipients with benefits issued from August 6-10 will receive 60% replacement, and CalFresh recipients with benefits issued from August 1-5 will receive 45% replacement.

Recipients may check their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) balance by calling (877) 328-9677 or visiting the EBT website www.ebt.ca.gov, and may contact Lake County Social Services at (707) 995-4200 for any questions.
