Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy Involved in Head-On Collision with Possible DUI Driver
Modesto, CA – At approximately 12:30 a.m., a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputy was driving southbound on 9th Street near B Street when a vehicle came across from the northbound lanes and hit the patrol deputy head-on. The deputy and the driver of the other vehicle had to be taken to the emergency room for treatment. The deputy was released with minor injuries.
Modesto Police Department responded to investigate the traffic collision and it is believed the driver of the other vehicle was driving under the influence. For information regarding the traffic collision investigation please contact Modesto Police department.
