Synopsis: A vehicle was traveling west on the 4900 block of El Cajon Boulevard. A 40 to 50 year old male was walking north crossing El Cajon Boulevard. The male was struck by the vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene west. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. At the hospital the pedestrian, died due to his injuries. The vehicle was described as a 2009 to 2011 Honda Civic, possible 2 door, primer color with front end and windshield damage. Traffic Division is investigating.
