AVOID Detroit Street at Fountain Ave. WHD for the next hour due to a traffic collision, Car versus Fire Hydrant. 
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - West Hollywood Station advises you to AVOID the intersection of Detroit Street & Fountain Ave. WHD due to current traffic congestion. A suspected drunk driver struck a fire hydrant shearing the hydrant and causing flooding in the street. LA County Fire Department is on scene. The suspected drunk driver fled the scene and was detained by deputies a few blocks from the accident.
