...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR
LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM OLNEY TO DENTON TO
ENNIS TO ATHENS...

.HEAVY RAIN IS ONGOING ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF NORTH
TEXAS. ANOTHER FRONT AND UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL AFFECT THE REGION
ON SATURDAY BRINGING MORE RAIN TO AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY
RECEIVED SEVERAL INCHES OF RAINFALL THIS WEEK. THE FRONT WILL
STALL ACROSS THE REGION ON SATURDAY WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN
EXPECTED ON SUNDAY...MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20. WITH AMPLE
MOISTURE IN PLACE...HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1-3 INCHES POSSIBLE. THE SOILS ARE SATURATED
ACROSS MOST OF THE WATCH AREA AND ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL
COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

* OVERVIEW...THE COMBINATION OF AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH AND STALLING
FRONT WILL LEAD TO MORE HEAVY RAIN ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. THE
SOILS ARE ALREADY WELL SATURATED IN THE WATCH AREA FROM SEVERAL
INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR THIS WEEK. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
LIKELY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING WITHIN THE WATCH AREA.
