PRESS RELEASE


The Frankfort Police Department is actively investigating an aggravated battery and assault that occurred in the 22000 block of South Pfeiffer Rd. The incident occurred on July 27, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m. At that time, an unknown male offender approached the female victim in a secluded area of a business. The victim was grabbed, struck and forced to the ground by the offender. The male offender used what is believed to be a piece of broken glass as a weapon. After forcing the victim to the ground, the offender became startled and fled from the scene on foot. The female victim suffered minor injuries as a result of this incident.

The offender is described as a male approximately 6’00” tall with black hair, a black goatee, wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt. The offender is further described as possibly being of Hispanic decent with little or no accent.
