School is open this week!

Students will be walking to school, crossing streets and waiting at bus stops. Remember, student safety begins with roadway safety. Be sure to obey the speed limit and watch for kids in crosswalks.

Drivers must always stop when a school bus is stopped to pick up or drop off students on a two-lane road way.  Violation carries a mandatory $150 fine and automatic 3 month driver's license suspension.

For students walking to school, please remind them to use the sidewalk, cross streets in a crosswalk or at an intersection (never in the middle of the block), and look both ways before crossing.

For bike riders, ride on the right side of the road WITH traffic (never on the left side AGAINST traffic), wear a bike helmet, use arm signals, and follow traffic laws (including stop signs).
