(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Assault unit investigators need the public’s help in locating 28 year old Simon Gerard Adams (DOB 11-24-87) wanted for the assault on family member felony.

Investigators say on Friday, August 12, 2016, at around 11:00pm deputies responded to a 911 call from an apartment block in the 17200 block of Hafer in north Harris County.

When patrol deputies arrived the mother of the 26 year old female complainant told deputies her daughter contacted her and said that Adams had forced his way into the apartment by smashing a patio door and she was in fear for her life.

When the mother arrived, the daughter was gone, but a female security guard told the deputies that Adams dragged the female to his vehicle and struck her several times. She tried to intervene , but he was able to drive away from the apartment.

Investigators were able to locate an address for Adams from a family member, and deputies found the complainant.

She had suffered a cut lip and facial injuries; she was treated at the scene by EMS and released.

Adams fled the residence before HCSO personnel arrived and a to-be warrant was accepted by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Simon Adams is described as a black male 6’2 in height and weighing 185 lbs.

He has black hair and brown eyes.
