INCIDENT: UNLAWFUL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A MINOR

SUSPECT(S): Judith Hernandez, age 18 a resident of Victorville

VICTIM(S): 14 year-old male juvenile of Adelanto


SUMMARY:

On Saturday, August 13, 2016, at approximately 11:00pm, Deputy Ty James was dispatched to a call of a male and a female having sex in a white vehicle at the corner of Chamberlaine Way and Pearmain Street in Adelanto. When Deputy James arrived he located the white vehicle with a male and female inside.

Once Deputy James activated his overhead lights and spotlight, he observed the driver of the vehicle, identified as Judith Hernandez, quickly get off the victim’s lap. According to the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile, he met the suspect on Facebook approximately 1 year ago. Hernandez and the victim started meeting in person approximately 1 month ago which is when the sexual encounters began. According to the victim, he told her he was 16 years-old and he knew she was 18 years-old.

Judith Hernandez was arrested and is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $250,000.00 bail.
