UPDATE #LASD Homicide Bureau Investigates the Shooting Death of a Man, 6000blk E Olympic Bl, Los Angeles @EastLALASD
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 1:03 a.m. in the 6000 block of East Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles.
Homicide detectives learned the victim was standing in the parking lot of the location when two Hispanic men walking eastbound on Olympic Boulevard walked up to the victim. One of the men produced a handgun and opened fire striking the victim multiple times. The suspects fled northbound across the parking lot and out of view.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time the motive for the shooting is unknown.
There are no further details of the shooting nor a description of the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
