Crews temporarily closing County U access at WIS 54 Monday

At 6 a.m. on Monday, August 15 crews will temporarily close Wood and Portage County U access at WIS 54 for approximately three weeks. No formal detour will be posted.
The median at the intersection remains temporarily closed. Motorists traveling on WIS 54 can still expect to encounter single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH.
The construction of the J-turn is scheduled for completion in early September 2016. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
