Scheduled water service shut downs for August 10th & 12th 
The City of Adak Water System will be shut down as follows:
- August 10th - 8am-7pm to install meter in Camel Cove. Units 101-107 and 147-150 will be impacted.
- August 12 - 8am-7pm to install new water valve on Finger Bay road and perform downsizing caps in South Sandy Cove. All Sandy Cove units will be affected.
We will send reminder texts each day for the August 12th shut down so you have adequate time to prepare. You can prepare by filling drinking water containers, boiler preparations as well as filling bathtubs for use, just in case. We will endeavor to reactivate the system as soon as possible on both days. Please note with the age of the system other units may be affected. Please call the office at 592-4500 x103 if you have further questions.
