08/01/2016 @ 0730. $1K in cash was taken from the floorboard of the unlocked vehicle. #04439

Residential Burglary

900 Block Westbourne Drive

08/01/2016 @ 0900-2359. A laptop and cosmetics were taken from the living room. No sign of forced entry. Loss $1500. #04456

August 2nd

Grand Theft

7500 Block W. Norton Avenue

08/02/2016 @ 1100. $1500 cash was removed from the victim's wallet. #04462

August 3rd

Armed Robbery

8500 Block Sunset Blvd

08/03/2016 @ 2055. A male adult entered the store with his face covered by a bandana and approached a store employee. The suspect forced the employee to place cell phones in a bag then fled the area on foot. Loss: Unknown. #04496

Vehicle Burglary

600 Block N. Croft Avenue

08/03/2016 @ 1430-1600. The front passenger's side window was smashed and a duffle bag, laptop, camera, and clothing were taken from the front seat. Loss $3500. #04493

Mail Theft - Suspects Arrested

1200 Block Kings Road

08/03/2016 @ 0912. A male adult and a female adult were arrested after they were seen pulling on the front doors of several apartment complexes attempting to gain entry. Deputies responded and both suspects were found to be in possession of counterfeit U.S. Mail Postal keys as well as stolen mail. Identity theft equipment and methamphetamine were also recovered. #04483

August 4th

Strong Arm Robbery - Suspects Arrested

8500 Block Santa Monica Blvd

08/04/2016 @ 0229. While walking EB Santa Monica Blvd, a male adult reached into the victims back pocket and removed his wallet. The victim fought back and a struggle ensued. The suspect, assisted by another adult male suspect, took control of the wallet and fled on foot. Deputies responded and arrested both suspects. #04504

August 5th

Commercial Burglary

7600 lock Santa Monica Blvd

08/05/2016 @ 2000-0745. The metal window bars were bent to allow access and a laptop was taken from the office. Loss #04529

Residential Burglary

900 Block Palm Avenue

08/05/2016 @ 0320. The suspect(s) pushed the garage gate off its track to gain access and broke the lock to the complex gym. Loss $100 (lock). #04533

Vehicle Burglary

800 Block Westbourne Drive

08/05/2016 @ 1800-1930. The front passenger's side window was smashed and a backpack containing clothes was taken from the front seat. Loss $375. #04545

08/05/2016 @ 1750-1840. Luggage, wallet, cash, and a laptop were taken from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. Loss $53K. #04549
