Arrest Made for Residential Burglary, Robbery and Spousal Abuse. 
On Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 0058 hours, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of King Avenue regarding an assault and theft report. Officers interviewed the victim who stated her ex-boyfriend, Julian Chavez forced his way inside her residence and assaulted her. The victim stated Chavez was upset with her accusing her of seeing another man. Chavez reportedly pushed and struck the victim during the incident and stole her cell phone before leaving. The victim sustained a small laceration to her hand and head pain but declined medical attention. Chavez was later arrested at his residence in the 2400 block of Bell Avenue. Chavez was charged with residential burglary, robbery and spousal abuse. Chavez was booked at the Kings County Jail in Hanford, CA with a total bail amount of $110,000.00
