Press Release - Arrest Made for Unlawful Sex with a Minor.

On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at 2:57 PM, Corcoran Police officers responded to the 1800 block of Dairy Avenue regarding an unlawful sex with minor report. On arrival, officers contacted Johnny Rivas Urias (Age 19), who was suspected of having a sexual relationship with a minor. Through investigation, it was determined Urias and the minor met through family on social media. When Urias and the minor met in person they began a dating relationship. A few days later Urias and the minor engaged in sexual intercourse at a family member's house. Urias was arrested and book date the Kings County Jail in Hanford, CA for charges of unlawful sex with minor, unlawful sex with minor three years younger than perpetrator and digital penetration. His bail amount was set at $80,000.00. |
