Armed Robbery at Chase Bank

Just around 9:15 am on Saturday July 30th, employees at Chase Bank, located at 17599 Monterey Rd, reported there had been a robbery. Employees told arriving officers that two armed men walked into the bank and demanded the teller give them all the money in the register. The employees informed the officers the two men brandished hand guns and were carrying duffle bags. The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts with masks covering their entire face. Based on photographs and eye witness account, the suspects are described as two males approximately 6’ to 6’3” with slim builds. One suspect was described as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with dark pants and white shoes. The second suspect was described as wearing a black sweatshirt with blue jeans and red/white/black Nikes shoes. The suspects were last seen fleeing the bank and getting into a blue Ford focus and driving west bound on W. Main Ave. No patrons or Chase Bank employees were injured during the robbery. The Morgan Hill Police and the F.B.I are currently working all leads in the case. Attached to the press release are photographs of the two suspects and a ford focus similar to the one used in the robbery.
