EVENT DESCRIPTION: K9s4COPS and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office dedicate their time and service to making Houston and Harris County safe places to live and work. K9s4COPS, a national nonprofit organization, provides trained K9s to law enforcement agencies and schools across the world. Through a unique partnership with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, K9s4COPS has helped double their K9 ranks.
To show our appreciation, Texans LB John Simon will visit the Harris County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, July 28. Along with surprise gifts and lunch, two K9 officers will be invited to the Liberty White Out game on Sunday, Sept. 11 to be honored with other first responders.
