The Chula Vista Fire Department (CVFD) and the Chula Vista Firefighter’s Foundation (CVFF) are raising money for the California Fire Foundation — CA Firefighters Memorial and the CVFF. CVFD and CVFF are selling a specially designed “9/11 Never Forget” t-shirt to memorialize the 15th Anniversary of this tragic event. Proceeds will be split equally between the CVFF and the California Fire Foundation — CA Firefighters Memorial. The Chula Vista Firefighter’s Foundation is a 501 C-3 non-profit charity dedicated to providing assistance for disaster relief, safety, education and community needs of citizens of Chula Vista and surrounding area through humanitarian aid, financial support and general assistance to ensure quality of life. The California Fire Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect.
