Be Aware of Suspected Scam Artist in Geyser Crest Area 
The Saratoga Springs Police Department has received a report of a man driving a black pickup truck who was canvassing homes along Casino Drive offering to perform handy work. When one resident agreed to have their driveway sealed, this individual asked for $150 in order to buy supplies in order to do the job. Unfortunately, the resident complied with the request and the individual, who identified himself as Dave Rock from Fort Edward absconded with the money.
It appears that Mr. Rock made similar offers to other residents of Casino Drive but, fortunately, none took him up on his offer. There is the possibility that this individual's agenda was to case the neighborhood for a future robbery attempt or that his goal is to prey on the elderly.
The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, balding head with gray hair on the sides, and has a tattoo on his neck. He is also a smoker. Surveillance camera photos from the home of one of the residents he approached are attached.
