On July 15th, 2016 at 7:35 am Morgan Hill Officers responded to a residence on the 17000 block of Walnut Grove Dr. to investigate a report of a male suffering from a stab wound. As Officers arrived on scene they were told by a female that the victim was inside the residence with a stab wound to the upper torso. Officers made entry into the home and located the 50 year old male victim in a room. The victim was awake and able to speak with the officers. The officers also located the suspect, 55 year old Raul Garcia from Morgan Hill inside the home. Suspect Garcia was taken into custody without incident. The victim who sustained non-life threatening injuries was transported to San Jose Regional Hospital for medical treatment. Based on the investigation it appears it was an isolated incident between the suspect and the victim. Suspect Garcia believed the victim had committed past injustices to him and his family.
