JHPD received reports of thefts from UNLOCKED vehicles that occurred overnight in the Hunters Fields area. Reminder: LOCK YOUR CAR!!! 
Four thefts reported from: 100 block Pointer; 600 block Setter; (2) 400 block Lexie. All victim vehicles were UNLOCKED and likely occurred late night/early morning of 07/14. Locking your car and keeping valuables out of sight is first step in discouraging this crime of opportunity.
