On Tuesday July 12, 2016 the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office investigated the armed robbery in the Town of Windsor. The suspects who were charged with the crime are Sergey Gutsu and Ivan Morales. They have been arraigned on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy. They remain in custody pending further court proceedings,
During the course of the investigation, VCI Detectives developed information that Gutsu and Morales were likely involved in other crimes throughout the state.
Although we cannot divulge specific details of the investigations, we are confident that one or both are responsible for an armored car robbery in Granada Hills and a robbery/homicide in San Dimas.
The armored car robbery took place in Granada Hills on Tuesday, March 29th 2016.
The Robbery Homicide took place in San Dimas on Tuesday June 2nd, 2015.
