Riverbank Drive paving will begin Thursday, July 7, 2016. Residents are receiving notices at their doorstep today explaining the paving and the requirement to remove vehicles from the street by 7AM on Thursday. The police will be in the community starting at 7AM to assist in moving vehicles. Once all vehicles are out of the way, final inspections of the road surface will take place and some additional asphalt cutting will occur. This work will be followed by the actual paving. Due to the excessive heat expected on Thursday, it is likely that the "No Parking" restrictions will be carried into the evening while the asphalt cools. The township is also going to attempt to cool the surface of the asphalt using water spray later in the day. Please be patient and understand that some inconvenience is expected when trying to reconstruct such a large and isolated roadway.

Since the pavement will be very hot and slow to cool, please DO NOT drive, park, or walk on the new pavement until such time as all safety cones, barricades, etc. have been removed.
