Details: On Saturday, June 25, 2016 at approximately 12:47 AM, Officers of the Corcoran Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of Wigdal Avenue in regards to a burglary. Upon arrival Officers learned that the victim was awoken by her former boyfriend Jose Arellano, who tried to force her onto her feet. Arellano ordered the victim to exit the residence and attempted to physically force her out. Family members of the victim entered the room and Arellano left the residence a short time later. On Friday, July 1, 2016 at approximately 3:30 PM Arellano was contacted at his place of employment and placed under arrest. Arellano was booked into the Kings County jail for burglary, attempted kidnapping, spousal battery and annoying or harassing via telephone. Arellano's bail was set at $165,000.
