On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at approximately 5:20 p.m. Mr. Riveral Rojas was found by a deputy sheriff from Norwalk Sheriff’s Station.  The deputy was responding to a minor traffic collision call at the 13500 block of Heflin Drive, La Mirada.

During the traffic investigation, the deputy discovered that Mr. Riveral Rojas was a reported missing person out of the city of Paramount.  Mr. Riveral Rojas’ family was contacted and subsequently reunited with them.

Mr. Riveral Rojas was found to be in good condition.    

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Person’s Detail and Mr. Riveral Rojas’ family would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in his safe return.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – Missing Person’s Detail as well as the missing person’s family are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. 

The missing person, Tomas “Tom” Riveral Rojas, was last seen on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., leaving his residence in the city of Paramount.  He was last seen driving his 2005 silver Honda CRV, California license plate 5MPT043, possibly heading to the city of Hawaiian Gardens.  The vehicle has scratches on the passenger’s side.  Mr. Rojas suffers from Alzheimer’s. 

Mr. Rojas is described as a male Filipino, 88 years old, 5’3”, 167 pounds, gray hair, and brown eyes.  No clothing description is available at this time.
