On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell will host a meet-and-greet and press availability for news organizations and their reporters, as well as community stakeholders representing the many diverse Asian communities served by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Station Commanders and staff from the following LASD patrol stations will also be present to answer any questions:  Industry, Walnut, Temple, Cerritos, and Altadena, among others.

Chinese Americans remain the Los Angeles region's largest Asian ethnic group. The latest U.S. Census also indicates that South Asians are the fastest growing population.
