Upper Macungie Township 4th of July Fireworks Traffic Advisory for July 2, 2016
The annual fireworks display will be held on July 2, 2016 at the Breinigsville Park. Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged by those attending the festivities. At the conclusion of the fireworks, certain roadways will be shut down to accommodate the heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic from spectators leaving the event. Breinigsville Road between Butz Road and Brookdale Road will be completely closed to vehicular traffic. Butz Road and Brookdale Road will be closed to vehicular traffic heading towards the park. Traffic heading away from the park on Butz Road will not be able to make left hand turns onto Schaeffer Run Road or Ash Lane. Traffic on Brookdale Road leaving the park will be directed to make a left hand turn onto Schaeffer Run Road. As a reminder, alcohol is not permitted within any park in Upper Macungie Township.
