**LASD's Human Trafficking Bureau** 
On Thursday, June 9th, we had the opportunity to have the Compton City Councilwoman Emma Sharif and the Assistant City Manager Cedric Hicks visit our new Human Trafficking Bureau. The Human Trafficking Bureau was officially opened in November, 2015, and the city officials were exposed to how far the bureau has come since then. Sheriff Jim McDonnell is committed to help solving this very serious problem with all the resources available.
