Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at the 7600 block of Miramonte Boulevard, Los Angeles, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at approximately 1:00 AM.

Detectives have learned that the victim was working on a car parked along the curb in front of a residence when an unknown suspect approached him. The suspect produced a firearm and opened fire striking the victim.

The victim was then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is no suspect description and the investigation is on-going.

NARRATIVE:               

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 7600 block of Miramonte Boulevard, Los Angeles, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at approximately 1:17 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

The victim, a male Hispanic adult, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
