Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a man that occurred at the 400 block of Union Pacific Avenue, unincorporated Los Angeles, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at approximately 12:29 a.m.

Detectives have learned the East Los Angeles deputies responded to the location in response to a “shots fired” call. When they arrived they found the victim lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect information.

There is no further information and the investigation is on-going.

NARRATIVE:               

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the area of Union Pacific Avenue and Bonnie Beach Place, East Los Angeles, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at approximately 12:29 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

The victim, a male Hispanic adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.
