On Saturday, June 5, at approximately 2:49 am, an Officer of the Corcoran Police Department contacted Daniel Hoagland in the 1200 block of Norboe Avenue. The contact was made after the Officer observed  Vehicle Code violations committed as Hoagland drove to the location. The Officer recognized Hoagland and was aware he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest regarding another case.  Hoagland was arrested for the warrant and a search was conducted of his person subsequent to his arrest. As a result of that search, Hoagland was found to be in possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine. Hoagland was booked into the Kings County Jail and held on the warrant and charges of possession and transportation of a controlled substance. Hoagland’s bail was $50,000.
